Accessing the Collaborate Data Displays

Collaborate includes a range of pre-packaged Displays specifically designed to present data collected from the monitored systems and applications. The following will show how to access these Displays through the Web Application.

Navigation

The initial Data Displays for Collaborate monitoring can be accessed from the Web Application by using any of the following navigation options:

  • Expand the Collaborate item in the first (Group) navigation pane then click on the technology type. This will populate the second (Instance) navigation pane with the 'All <technology type>' item at the top together with a list showing the names of all individual devices of that technology type that are being monitored. In addition, a Display will open in the main pane showing details of all the monitored devices for the selected technology.

For example, click on the 'PBXs' item in the first (Group) navigation pane. This will populate the second (Instance) navigation pane with the 'All PBXs' item together with a list showing the name of each monitored PBX and/or Cluster. Also, the 'All PBXs' Display will open in the main pane showing details of all devices.

  • Expand the required technology type in the first (Group) navigation pane. This will show a list of all vendor products for that technology type that can be monitored by Collaborate. Clicking on a vendor product in this list will populate the second (Instance) navigation pane with the 'All <vendor name>' item at the top and a further list showing the names of each individual device for that vendor product that is being monitored. In addition, a Display will open in the main pane showing details of each device for the vendor product.

For example, clicking the 'Avaya Aura CMs' type in the first pane will populate the second navigation pane with the 'All Aura CMs' item together with a list showing the name of each monitored Avaya Aura CM PBX. Also, the 'Avaya Systems' Display will open in the main pane showing details of each Avaya Aura CM device.

  • Clicking on a device name in the second (Instance) navigation pane will open an initial Display showing data for that individual device.
