Install the SQL Reports on the SSRS Server

Verify SSRS Configuration

Before running SetupReports script, SSRS must have been installed and configured on the SSRS Server.

See this MSDN page for detailed instructions on how to do this (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-AU/library/ms143711.aspx).

In order to verify that SSRS has been configured correctly, see this MSDN page (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-AU/library/ms143773.aspx#bkmk_nativemode).

Run SetupReports.bat Script

Open a Command Prompt as the SetupReports user. Navigate to the relevant deployment folder on the reporting server. Deployment folders are named as follows:

<Prognosis_Home>\Server\Configuration\BigDataInsight\<product>

Where <product> is the deployment name that was chosen when running the Setup script to deploy the solution.

Locate and run the SetupReports.bat script.

> SetupReports.bat

Enter the file path to the folder containing the reports to be uploaded, or press Enter to choose the default location (.\Reports). The default location should be correct unless you have a separate folder of reports that you wish to upload.

C:\Prognosis\Server\Configuration\BigDataInsight\<product>\> SetupReports.bat

Prognosis Insight includes reports to be loaded onto the SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) server.
To load the included reports, please provide the following details.

If there are stored procedures to be run for the reports, enter the full path into the directory of the .sql files (for UC enter "C:\<Prognosis_Home>\Server\Configuration\BigDataInsight\UC\StoredProcedures").

SetupReports will execute all of the .sql files in this directory during deployment.

Please enter the file path to the folder containing the SQL stored procedures to be run on the database (Default: none) (Enter "none" to skip)

Verify the Report Deployment

To verify that the reports have been successfully uploaded and configured:

Use a Web Browser to navigate to the Report Manager on the SSRS Server. The URL can be found in the Report Manager URL tab of Reporting Services Configuration Manager:

http ://<SsrsServer>:80/Reports
This is not the same URL as the one provided to the SetupReports script. If SSRS has been configured with the default Report Manager URL, it will look similar to this: http::/localhost:80/Reports

Find one of the reports that have just been uploaded. Depending on the product and the report pack, the reports may have been uploaded to different folders.

Click on the report to open the report execution page. If the page opens and no error messages are displayed, then the Reports, Data Sets and Data Sources have been uploaded and configured correctly.
