Deployment Model for MS SQL Server
Architecture
The Microsoft SQL Reporting and Analytics deployment consist of the following components.
Component | Description |
Monitoring Servers | These are servers where data is being collected for use in real-time dashboards and for forwarding to the Reporting Server. |
Reporting Server | This is a dedicated Management Server installation that populates the Reporting SQL Database. |
Reporting Database | This is the database that will store long-term data. It consists of a Microsoft SQL Server installation that includes Integration Services and Reporting Services on one or more servers. The SQL Reporting solution requires two databases:
