Troubleshooting HA
The most common pitfalls when diagnosing HA issues is that items are commonly misconfigured.
Before investigating further, it's advisable to check the following items:
- Remote credentials have been added for both the Monitoring Servers in the HA Pair.
- PostgreSQL port 5432 (or whichever port it has been configured to use) has been opened in the firewall.
- Synchronization port 1970 has been opened in the firewall.
If any changes were made above, then un-pair (refer to 'Deleting a HA Pair' in Advanced Configuration of the HA Pair) and re-pair the Primary and Secondary servers and re-test to see if this has rectified the problem.
