Description

Execute command for

List box that determines whether this command is triggered on the Off Event, On Event, Open Acknowledgement, Close Acknowledgement or Any Acknowledgement of the corresponding Threshold.

Details

Type
Select the command type:

Control Automated Analyst (Analyst) - Send a command to the Automated Analyst server (irautoan.exe).

Control Threshold (Threshold) - Send a command to the Threshold server.

Shell on Server (Shell) - Send a command to be executed via the command server (ircmdsrv.exe).

Acknowledge Traps (SNMP Trap Receiver) - Send a command to acknowledge an SNMP Trap message.

ATM Ticketing - Send a command to change the state of an ATM problem ticket. See the Commands for ATM Manager for further details.


Command: (Mandatory)
Text entry box where the command to be executed is entered. The Build ... button allows for browsing to find a directory/file path and also provides access to the list of record fields for input into the command text.

Password Key
Text box to enter the KEY for the user ID/Password.

Nodes to Run On

Command Node
Enter the node where the command is to be executed. A  (Browse) button is available to select a node from the currently available nodes. #SourceNode can be used but Nodegroups are not supported.


Override Default Command Node
When this box is checked, the above Command Node field will become active. When unchecked the command node specified in the Default Destinations tab of the Threshold will be used.

Options

Acknowledgement required by operator
When this box is checked the command will require acknowledgement by the operator before being executed.  The default is not checked.


Command Shell Sharing:
This field determines whether execution of commands on the same node can use the same shell or require a new shell for each command. The selections available are: Default, Enabled, Disabled.
