Configuration for the File Extractor

Configuration for the File Extractor is made through the EXTRACTOR Configuration.

Basic configuration items include;

  • Name and location of the script file that the extractor needs to execute.

  • Source of the data that the Extractor has to read. This can be either ordinary files, log files or command output.

  • The interval at which the Extractor should read the source data.

  • Internal buffer size.

EXTRACT LOG (FSCOL, WVLOG.EXT, WVLOG.TXT, 0, 100)
